ABOUT US Chairman's Welcome Welcome to New England Homes for the Deaf! New England Homes for the Deaf is the only organization in the northeast dedicated to serving the residential and health care needs of the elderly Deaf and DeafBlind population. It is one of only two such organizations in the United States. As an institution we are committed to reaching out to our Deaf and DeafBlind friends and colleagues in the most powerful manner possible. For today’s society, the Internet is an essential tool in that process, and we look forward to providing information to the community and in a way that is stimulating, informative, and helpful. In the coming months the new Web site will revolutionize our online presence, and will become a wonderful electronic extension of our community – ever-changing as we learn and grow in our lives here at NEHD. Today’s economic and health care environment depends upon the sharing of accurate information and communication.
